Bryn EdwardsFinance director
Bryn is a chartered accountant who qualified with Deloitte.
After qualifying, he became finance director of two engineering companies. He was then appointed by Ernst & Young to create their consulting practice in the Far East. During five years based in Singapore, he was appointed to create a 10-year plan for Singapore Airlines.
On return to the UK, Bryn was appointed managing director of a major tour operator. During that time, the company pioneered tour operations to the Seychelles and Mauritius. He was also instrumental in establishing an overseas conference-handling company that was appointed as official carriers to the WHO, BMA and most of the leading pharmacy companies in the UK.
Bryn was later appointed operations director of Esselte, a major Swedish company. In 1986, he moved back into management consulting with Doctus and Sun Alliance and was responsible for establishing a practice in South Africa
Bryn went on to set up his own consulting practice specialising in finance, profit improvement and company reconstruction. Since selling the practice, he now specialises in advising companies in the medical field, social housing and small business start-ups
Bryn is also Vice Chair of Farnborough College of Technology
